Hosting

The site is a static site (HTML, CSS, images) with no database and no server-side code, hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, California, United States (netlify.com). Like any web host, Netlify records the IP address and the requested page in its server logs for security and traffic purposes; the publisher does not use these logs to identify visitors.

Privacy

• The site sets no cookie and uses no tracker, analytics or advertising script. It therefore shows no cookie banner, as none is needed.
• Your theme choice (dark or light) is stored in your browser’s local storage only, on your device.
• The documentation search runs entirely in your browser on an index built with the site; no query leaves your device.
• The number of GitHub stars in the header is fetched by your browser from the public GitHub API (api.github.com); GitHub then sees your IP address as for any page it serves. No other third-party request is made: fonts are self-hosted.
• If a privacy-friendly audience measurement tool is added one day, it will be configured without personal data, in line with the GDPR and the guidance of the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD), without a consent banner that is not required.

The application itself

Arachnide SEO Spider runs on your computer and sends no data to its author. It contacts only the websites you crawl, and optionally the services you configure yourself (Anthropic or OpenAI for AI fixes, your CMS, Google APIs, your SMTP server). See the FAQ.
